Gavin founded Kinmont in 2003 and specialises in advising owner managers of public and private companies.

Mat Thackery

Mat joined Kinmont in 2008 and his advisory experience stretches across a number of sectors and transaction types in the public and private markets. He has particular experience in running trade sales, advising on MBO’s and advisory in relation to debt and equity capital markets. Prior to Kinmont, Mat worked at Deloitte, latterly within Corporate Finance and prior to that in Audit and Assurance where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He has a first class degree in Maths, Operation Research, Statistics and Economics (MORSE) from the University of Warwick.
